ACL Repair and Arthroscopic Surgery Pain Management I had two arthroscopic surgeries and one ACL repair, and each time my knee got worse. I took medicines and therapies and continued with pain and used crutches 70% of the time. I was advised to have more surgery. I got Dr. Faber’s treatments. I am off medications, therapy and crutches. My knees were keeping me up at night. I couldn't carry anything, couldn't climb stars without two handrails.
