Prolotherapy Pain Management for Arm and Elbow Injuries

Pain in the arm, especially around the elbow or wrist, can make life incredibly difficult. Whether you experienced a recent injury or have chronic pain, Dr. Pollack is here to help. The arm and elbow are composed of bones, ligaments, tendons, vessels, and nerve tissue. Dysfunction in any of these elements may produce debilitating pain. With our treatment options, you’ll wave your pain goodbye.

Causes of Arm Pain

  • Muscle strain from overexertion
  • Heavy lifting
  • Tendinitis from overuse
  • Sprain
  • Age
  • Bursitis
  • Arthritis
  • Inflammation
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Trauma

The majority of arm injuries are the result of injury from sports or daily activities. Lifting or holding objects can be difficult due to these injuries. Most arm pain is located around the joints of the elbow or wrist. If the source of your pain is in the shoulders or from a rotator cuff injury, we have different methods of diagnosis and treatment available. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Neal Pollack to find the best treatment plan for your arm and elbow pain.

Golf and Tennis Elbow

Often nicknamed after the sports which cause them, these conditions are actually irritations of tendon attachments to the medial and lateral epicondyles at the elbow. The repetitive movement and force from swinging a tennis racket or golf club leads to pain in the elbow area. While minor cases may heal with time, the condition can grow worse from attempting to use your arms.

If golf or tennis elbow does not go away within a few weeks, you should seek a treatment plan at Milwaukee Pain Treatment Center right away.
